Hi, I’m Oliver Shemtov, I’m a Sophomore at BHHS. I enjoy Science and English as well as sports. 

I am a second-year highschool student and have taken the following courses:

In math, I have taken Honors Geometry and am currently taking Honors Algebra 2/3 Trigonometry. In Science, I have taken Honors Biology and am currently taking AP Biology. I have taken Honors Spanish 1 and 2 and am currently taking Honors Spanish 3. I am also an Honors English student. 

Regarding sports, I am the Varsity Water Polo and Swim Capitan. I have also been on the Basketball team for two years and became captain this year. I have also served as a Red Cross-certified lifeguard for the past year. As a Capitan, I enjoy teaching and guiding my younger teammates and my students as I know they rely on me. I have been involved in swimming and water polo since the fourth grade and competed in the Junior Olympics. Being a lifeguard has also taught me a lot about working with little kids as well as being aware.  I have coached and tutored my two younger brothers and several other kids.
